Andy W. Su, MD, received his undergraduate degree from M.I.T. and medical degree from the University of Chicago, where he received numerous research honors and scholarship awards.

During medical school, he was one of a few selected to participate in the prestigious Howard Hughes Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health. He then completed his radiation oncology training at the University of Chicago Medical Center and also completed additional training in brachytherapy at the Seattle Prostate Institute and at the Texas Cancer Clinic. During his training at the University of Chicago, he has performed numerous research studies and has published many articles and abstracts in various professional journals.

Dr. Su has expertise in Intensity Modulated Radiation Treatments (IMRT) and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), allowing radiation delivery to the tumor while avoiding surrounding normal tissues. In addition, he has extensive training in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy procedures for breast, gynecologic and prostate cancers.
