Avrum J. Epstein, M.D., graduated from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in 1975. He spent one year in a surgical/medical internship followed by three years in a diagnostic radiology residency, both at Rush Presbyterian's
St-Lukes Hospital in Chicago. In 1979 he received board certification in diagnostic radiology from the American Board of Radiology. Since then he has been in clinical practice in the Chicago area and has been at Rush North Shore Medical Center since August of 1980. Dr. Epstein has had papers published in the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Journal of Computed Axial Tomography. In 1995, Dr. Epstein was granted certification in vascular and interventional radiology and in 1998 he achieved subspecialty certification in Nuclear Cardiology from the Certification Board for Nuclear Cardiology. |
